If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;
Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…
Then pray this short prayer of Faith
Say it loud and mean it:
“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

Please what do you do when you know your parents are into witchcraft and occultic activities? I am born again and a covenant child. Do I still carry on honouring them with my resources e.g. cash and gifts ( as scripturally instructed)when I know they are up to no good with any money I send? I have spoken to them about their lifestyle but they deny all the time but the evidence is overwhelming. I need to know what to do. I have been praying and spoken to some pastors but I was told to keep honouring them. Is this right?? I am not free in my spirit to continue but at the same time I do not want to disobey my pastor. please what do I do. Papa, Mama, help me...and perhaps also someone else who might be in same position.

ReplyDeletesister Amake,your pastor must be listened to as he guides you to GOD's word in Ephesians 6:1-3.kindly obey the unchanging Holy Scriptures rather than your ever changing feelings.However,remain sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit with regards to giving and receiving.if the devil,our arc-enemy was that powerful,you will not be alive today.we owe our parents love,despite all odds as they need our help in the things of God.they could used by the devil,BUT they are not that devil.this understanding will help us to further promote the kingdom of God in our Jerusalem as we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth.Remember,you are a creature of purpose,not of chance.you are I N D E S T R U C T I B L E-Isaiah 65 verse 8.JESUS IS LORD!
