PRAISE TO HARVEST: Should We Stop Praising After February?

PRAISE TO HARVEST: Should We Stop Praising After February? God Forbid!!

Praise is cardinal to the believer. It is the cheapest way to the Most High God. Blessings may come without it, but it takes praise to preserve the heavenly releases. That was the thrust of the monthly teaching series, titled “Understanding the Miracle Power of Praise” by Bishop David Oyedepo, President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota.

However, the architect-turned preacher stressed on Sunday 1st February 2015 that a spiritual saint required ‘fervent praise’ to take delivery of answers to ‘fervent prayers.’ Members of the Winners’ family had opened the New Year 2015 on a spiritual note with the customary 21-day prayer and fasting from January 5-25 so as to secure their individual HEAVEN ON EARTH agenda.

Having laboured in prayer in the course of the three-week period, the 60-year-old apostle of faith enjoined worshippers – both at the 50,000-seater auditorium and online, who fully partook of the daily exercise to expect a bumper harvest of answers in return. Reading from the book of Psalms 67:5-7, “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase. And God, even our own God shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him,” he continued.

Narrating one of his encounters with the Holy Spirit while the fasting lasted in January 2015, Papa quoted as follows:  “I HAVE HEARD YOU; PRAISE DOWN YOUR TESTIMONIES NOW.” God’s servant subsequently charged the congregation to engage in praise warfare and thanksgiving to the Lord as convenient throughout the Hosanna month, wherever and whenever as only the praisefully joyful qualifies for harvest. In his words no matter how hot a prayer is until the fellow repositions himself in praise, no answers could be in view, adding that dancing to God with all might silences our mockers any day, anytime.

The teaching focus in the midweek services centered on ‘Experiencing the Wonders of Praise’, while ‘Understanding The Wonders Of Thanksgiving’ was treated at the Winners’ Satellite Fellowship-WSF on Saturdays in over 23,750 locations in Lagos, Ota and environs.
