SHILOH 2014 OPENS!

Winners begin Shiloh 2014
The 16th edition of Shiloh, the annual convocation of the Living Faith Church worldwide opened at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland Ota on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
The five-day prophetic gathering which is christened HEAVEN ON EARTH was declared open by the Presiding Bishop David Oyedepo amid cheers and jeers from his teaming followers-on ground and online as other parishes around the world joined the live telecast.
In a sermon titled “heralding the era of heaven on earth”, the 60-year old preacher identified the existence of two heavens, namely earthly or temporal and eternal, asserting that heaven simply connotes dominion.
Bishop Oyedepo told the mammoth crowd including 43 other nations that the world was facing the end time as biblical truths are now rife more than ever before, alluding the negative effect of ISIS’ in the Middle-East which threatens global peace.
The apostle of faith however, posited that such times had no consequences on the redeemed of the Lord whose case is different: “there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: they saw not one another, neither rose any from his place three days: but the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”-Exo.10:22-23.
According to him, the end-time is a mix season. “We are in the end time; it is trying time for the world, and triumph for the church. It is a day of reproach and shame for the world”.
Teaming Winners (as members of the church are often referred to) went in a frenzy with a new quest tagged “the powers of the world to come” alongside Shiloh prayer hour which runs daily between 5:30-7:30 am has become the latest feature to be added as it will afford worshippers one solid hour to pray down their heaven in the presence of God.
The founder of Port-Harcourt based Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie and wife along with Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja and wife were in attendance as well as several other spiritual sons of Bishop David Oyedepo.
