A HARVEST OF WEDDINGS…

Call it the definite hand of God and you won’t be wrong, or how would one describe the deluge of weddings that the Living Faith Church has witnessed since the year began? In what could be aptly termed the direct manifestation of the Bible verse from Isaiah 34:16 (English Standard Version) that says, “Seek and read from the book of the Lord: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the Lord has commanded, and His Spirit has gathered them,” there has been an average of seven weddings each week since the year of ‘Exceeding Grace’ began, as announced at Faith Tabernacle, headquarters of the Living Faith Church worldwide.

A close look at the Announcement Bulletins published since January this year reveals that each Sunday, an announcement is made of at least 6 intending couples who would be walking down the aisle the following Sunday in Lagos, Ota and environs. The announcement is always followed by a reminder that members who for one reason or another travel outside of Lagos or to other churches to get married are not included on the list. In this piece, FT News presents some of the many weddings announcements from the commission’s headquarters starting from April, 2014.

On April 13th, 7 intending couples were announced while on Sunday April 20, it was 9 intending couples in Lagos and Ota. Sunday April 27 saw the announcement of 6, while on May 11, it was 9. On May 18, it was 6. On November 2, 2014, 10 intending couples were announced and Just last Sunday, 7 intending couples who will be wedding this weekend, were announced.

From all indications, there’s no gainsaying the reality that the grace for weddings and marriages resides in this commission, the Living Faith Church worldwide. And it goes without saying that people are getting married irrespective of what obtains in the world out there.
