Happy Married Life To...

As you read this, 11 (ELEVEN!!!) brand-new couples just joined the "Married" circle! They have changed address! This is apart from others who wedded outside of Lagos.
From all of us at Press and Publicity Unit, it is "Happy married life! We declare that yours shall be a blissful union."

As the church authorities will always say, "We are all admonished to stand in the gap for them in prayers and share in their joy," by giving glory to God on their behalf.

Recently, FT News published an article entitled, "A Harvest of Weddings" which was occasioned by the undeniable fact that since the exceeding grace year began, it has indeed been a deluge of marriage ceremonies. Read the article HERE.

For all those believing God for a life partner, yours shall be the next in Jesus name. The Bible says "...and none shall lack a mate," you shall locate your mate before Shiloh; your mate shall locate you before Shiloh 2014, in Jesus' name.

Just type 'Amen' in the comment box and share this with your friends. The God of David Oyedepo will surprise you in Jesus' name!

A HARVEST OF WEDDINGS…

Call it the definite hand of God and you won’t be wrong, or how would one describe the deluge of weddings that the Living Faith Church has witnessed since the year began? In what could be aptly termed the direct manifestation of the Bible verse from Isaiah 34:16 (English Standard Version) that says, “Seek and read from the book of the Lord: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the Lord has commanded, and His Spirit has gathered them,” there has been an average of seven weddings each week since the year of ‘Exceeding Grace’ began, as announced at Faith Tabernacle, headquarters of the Living Faith Church worldwide.

A close look at the Announcement Bulletins published since January this year reveals that each Sunday, an announcement is made of at least 6 intending couples who would be walking down the aisle the following Sunday in Lagos, Ota and environs. The announcement is always followed by a reminder that members who for one reason or another travel outside of Lagos or to other churches to get married are not included on the list. In this piece, FT News presents some of the many weddings announcements from the commission’s headquarters starting from April, 2014.

On April 13th, 7 intending couples were announced while on Sunday April 20, it was 9 intending couples in Lagos and Ota. Sunday April 27 saw the announcement of 6, while on May 11, it was 9. On May 18, it was 6. On November 2, 2014, 10 intending couples were announced and Just last Sunday, 7 intending couples who will be wedding this weekend, were announced.

From all indications, there’s no gainsaying the reality that the grace for weddings and marriages resides in this commission, the Living Faith Church worldwide. And it goes without saying that people are getting married irrespective of what obtains in the world out there.

“It is wisdom to first gain access into God’s presence (via quality worship) before you start talking…It is foolishness to start talking on the phone when the line has not connected…Why some are crying, others are simply discussing issues with God after quality worship and praise.”

No One Had Ever Succeeded In My Family. But...

Financial Turnaround via Shiloh Sacrifice!

“I was a nonentity when I joined this great Commission, and no one had ever succeeded in my family. But today, God has used me to bless so many people around me, both in Mexico and Nigeria.

During Shiloh 2012, I emptied my bank account for Shiloh sacrifice and I tagged a plot of land which I owned in my hometown Delta state to that.

Today, God has done it; He gave me a fully furnished house and has made me a surprise to my own nation.

Also in February this year, I connected to the Marital Breakthrough Service held at Faith Tabernacle via my personal computer in Mexico. The Bishop said that we should dance as though we were dancing in our traditional marriage. I didn't know how it all happened. I returned to Nigeria in April for my introduction and on December 28, 2013 we would be getting married. Here is the wedding card!”

---- Ofoku Bright Kelechi

I went to several places in search of solution...

“I joined this Commission in 2008. Meanwhile, In September 23, 1999, while sweeping my uncle’s kitchen, I felt a heavy shock in my body, which led to a seasonal sickness I experienced. I went to several places in search of solution to no avail.
In Shiloh 2011, I prayed like never before and made a vow to God that I would join the Ushering Unit so that He could heal me. Subsequently, God destroyed the fear that came with sickness.
Also, as I traveled back home after Shiloh 2012, the symptoms came back and I told the devil he was a liar and I rebuked it.
Since then till today, there has been no more sickness. I give God all the glory and honour!”

"Don't let anyone tell you there's no righteous man...God can't be building mansions in heaven if there's no one to occupy them. Jesus is smarter than that - every mansion must be occupied. And He's still building up till now. So, no matter how costly godliness may be, the outcome is priceless."...Bishop David Oyedepo, November 2014

Financial Stagnation Destroyed via Shiloh Sacrifice!

“I joined this Commission fully in 2012 through an invite from a brother in this church.

Meanwhile, I experienced financial hardship which affected my family. My children were sent out of school because I couldn’t pay their school fees. Also, we relocated from a three bedroom flat to a one-bedroom apartment. In fact, I lost everything I had to the devil, except my car.

At Shiloh 2012, my wife and I agreed to offer my car as a sacrifice to the Lord on this altar. After that sacrifice, heaven opened for us and God gave us a miracle shop.

Also, God connected us to seven importers that supplied us goods without taking a dime. God also relocated our children to a high-class school in Ghana and He cancelled all our debts.

Among other testimonies, last week, God blessed us with a Honda Pilot Jeep. I give all the glory and honour to the God of this great Commission. May His name be glorified forever!”

Miracle Marriage at 55 years!

“I believed God for marital breakthrough. I attended Shiloh since 1999, and every time I came, among other requests was to be connected to my life partner. God answered other requests except that singular one.

To the shame of the devil, in Shiloh 2012, the prophetic word was fulfilled in my life. On October 26 this year, I got connected and I am happily married at 55 years old. To God be the glory!”

AMAZING TESTIMONIES...Do You Still Remember?

Source: 4.bp.blogspot.com

40-Year Notorious Herbalist Turned Christian!

“I lived as an herbalist for 40 years. I was the second in command in the whole world. I had a flying carpet and a moving chair to travel to anywhere in the world.

I was popularly known as ‘Baba Onigba,’ by the media. Even government officials feared me. I was rich; married to nine wives and lived in a four-storey building with a bunker at Meiran. In fact, I had everything I needed.

During the time of Governor Marwa’s Operation Sweep, the security officers opened fire for five days on my house to arrest me, but they were unsuccessful. Whenever they tried to arrest me, the officials never returned. It was only the God of Bishop Oyedepo that arrested me.

I lost seven of my wives and 13 children and I became crippled. For 23 days, I was crawling like Nebuchadnezzar. I was in Ota General Hospital, and the Winners’ pastor in my neighbourhood visited me and told me once again to give my life to Jesus Christ. On July 26, the pastor came with anointing oil and anointed me.

Thereafter, he asked me what tools were in my possession; I told him I had a marine wife – she was the queen of the river. The pastor took her pictures, all my charms and the mortar I had and burnt them.
Today I am saved; I can walk and I have surrendered everything to God. I thank God for what He has done for me!” ---Taiwo, A.

Why You Need To Read This Book!

Book Title: Walking in the Newness of Life

Author: Bishop David Oyedepo

Book Pages: 254

Publisher: Dominion Publishing House

Reviewer: Suleimanu Usaini

Walking in the newness of life in this generation and end-time is possible and a reality because Jesus Christ made adequate provisions for us by His grace to live in that realm. Jesus Christ did not only redeem man from his sins but also gave him access to the reality of living a new life round the clock. The author in this book strives to show the reader by the spirit of God how to walk and live in the newness of life in this end-time. The author states “Jesus Christ does not only redeem us from our sins, but also makes His grace to walk in the newness of life available to us, by His Spirit and by the working knowledge of His word.”
The reader is further made to understand that holiness is the pathway to walking and living in the newness of life as the author asserts “...early in the year 1997, I asked the Lord, ‘What is it that guarantees consistent and never ending honour?’ He said to me, ‘Tell them, honour is rooted in righteous'." God is committed to beautifying the church with honour and glory, but it is demanded that the church first clean itself from every sin that easily besets it. God is also willing to visit the church with the Spirit of holiness, which enables everyone to walk and live in the newness of life.
In the opening chapter the reader is given an insight into the horrors of sin which encapsulates every form of unrighteousness. Righteousness brings honour but sin brings shame and reproach. The author posits, “Sin brings reproach, erodes honour, terminates dignity, cuts down and bring low... The wages of sin is death. Sin kills joy, destroys finances, the family, peace in the home, the business, etc.”
Nonetheless, the author exposes the likely agents of sin, which gives the reader much insight not only into the effects of sin, but also into what are the things that cause sin. The author categorized them into three: immorality, financial corruption and rebellion. He points out that sin is in grades and the sin of immorality is of the highest grade because it kills both the spirit and the flesh. The second grade of sin that the devil uses as a trap in the end-time is financial corruption. “The love of money is the root of all evil, and covetousness is what gives it expression.” Rebellion is the third grade of sin and it is a delibrate reaction by an individual or a group against order, targeted at all forms of leadership.
Therefore, we have a responsibility to fight sin in different shades and grades. The author in the fifth chapter identifies some God-given weapons that the believer can use to fight sin. The chief weapon is the Holy Spirit, because He is the superior helper that God has provided for us to wage the war against sin. Some other weapons include praying in tongues, crying ‘Abba Father’, the blood of Jesus, the power of will and choice.
The power of will and choice is very vital as that is the only way we can consciously disconnect from sin, be eternally free from unrighteousness and live in the newness of life. The author admonishes the reader to take an oath of purity, because Satan has taken a vow to destroy believers by causing them to fall victims of sin. Therefore, the believers also must vow to resist every form of sin.
After all is said, there are rewards for righteousness: where sin brings a curse, righteousness brings blessings. There is abundant prosperity, promotion and honour for the righteous. The author posits, “Righteousness is usually in place wherever you see God’s blessings. While the wages of sin is death, the wages of righteousness is life more abundant.”

This Is Your Life: You Must Be Born Again…

If you want to give your life to Christ; you want your sins forgiven; you want to become a child of God; you want to experience the realities of new birth; you want to make heaven;

Or you were once saved and fell along the line, and now you want to rededicate your life to Christ…

Then pray this short prayer of Faith

Say it loud and mean it:

“Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you today. Forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me, on the third day you rose again that I may be justified. Right now, I believe that my sins are forgiven; I’m justified by your blood; I’m born-again; I’m saved; I’m a child of God; I’m free from the power of sin to serve the living God. Thank you Jesus for receiving me; thank you Jesus for restoring me; thank you Jesus for saving me.

IF YOU PRAYED THAT PRAYER, HERE’S A PRAYER FOR YOU…FROM BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO:

Father, I pray over this precious soul. Your grace has saved them let your grace also preserve them. I cover you with the precious blood of Jesus. Remain covered until the day of His appearing. You have come into light; you will never have any reason to go back into darkness. You've come into freedom; you will never go back into captivity. In Jesus’ Name, Say Amen.

Thank God for your soul. We congratulate you for the best decision of your life. For further details on how to grow in this new light, please click the CONTACT US page or visit any Living Faith Church (Winners' Chapel) near you and ask for the pastor in charge.

I'VE SEEN HIM DO IT...

I have seen God do phenomenal and impossible things in the lives of His people. He has turned seemingly impossible situations to awesome miracles and there are diverse testimonies to validate His faithfulness. Last year, a 55-year-old woman miraculously got married for the first time after believing God for a long time. Overnight, He wiped her tears and terminated years of pain and sorrow.

Also, when the going gets tough for us as believers and we feel like quitting, God’s outstretched arms are ever ready to comfort us. I remember when my friend was hurting because she lost her dad; she felt God had given up on them. “How can this happen to us on God’s watch,” she kept asking. She didn't know the pain was to refine her. Though it took a while, she healed. Now she’s stronger and the pain has made her a better woman. She has a greater sense of value for time and life. That is why I believe there is always a message in every pain.

Furthermore, during the ordeal on my father’s health, medical practitioners never anticipated his survival but God did. He heard all our heartfelt cries and prayers to him and in His infinite mercies, restored his health. That season was most challenging but we took succour in the Lord.

I don’t know what mountain you may be faced with today, the challenges that keep tearing you apart or the walls that are caving in and suffocating you, but I know that you can lean on God and trust His flawless records to deliver you from them all. After all, He said in His Word, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” That’s why I know that every challenge you are faced with today is not to bring you down but to ensure a greater tomorrow. Moreover, it is often said that tough situations don’t last, but tough people do. So keep keeping on, there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Guess What's Happening At Winners Tomorrow!

As announced last Sunday during the four services at Canaanland, headquarters of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, there will be water baptism tomorrow Saturday November 22, 2014. Slated for 7am, it will be happening at Canaanland, as well as all the District/Zonal centres in Lagos, Ota and environs. As for Canaanland, the venue has always been Covenant University Sports Centre, by the swimming pool.
As a result, there will be no Shiloh Rally tomorrow. Winners are however enjoined to embark on personal evangelism/outreach as the annual convocation of Winners worldwide, Shiloh 2014 is just 17 days away.
For new converts and first-timers, and those who have never been baptized by immersion, there is no better way to spiritually prepare for Shiloh than "Fulfilling all righteousness", as Jesus Himself instructed.

“When our ministry first started, I had just three coats and two trousers. I just kept combining them. Yet, I was the ‘President General’ of the ministry. Who is looking at you? The worth of a man is not in his dress; it is his address! Your worth is in your value to men, not in the things you put on your body. For instance, if a harlot wears all manner of expensive apparel, does that make her an honourable woman? The title ‘harlot’ has already destroyed the glamour of the clothes. Have you ever seen a beautiful beggar? The fact that he is beggar has eroded whatever beauty he has.” (Page 56)

“A man or woman, who wears clothes bought on credit, is under the captivity of the spirit of this world – the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes. To see a wristwatch that is worth thousands of dollars and go for it, while other pressing issues are left unattended to, is sickening!” (Page 55)
“Now tell me, what is a man doing with 2 cars when he is only just starting a business? Meanwhile, he is all over the place looking for capital. He is committing a capital sin!” (Page 55)
“The prince of the power of the air is what moves a man into the lust of the flesh and all that accompanies it. Now look into the air and say: “Christ has given me power against unclean spirits. Prince of the air: hear my voice: I am not subject to your authority. Your influence will no longer find access into my life, my flesh, or my mind. No, no more.” (Page 57)
Those who won’t go to heaven know from here, since it is written that all liars won’t go there…You know if you are a liar; so don’t expect to be raptured.” (Page 59)

“If there’s a ‘but’ around your life now, it must go, otherwise it will send you packing, just like sin sent Adam packing from the Garden of Eden…” (Page 18)

“When Israel left Egypt and journeyed to the Promised Land, the highest number of people slain was through sexual immorality. Paul in his writing told us that 23,000 men fell n one day because of fornication…From bible records, this was the highest number of casualty throughout their journey…Immorality will take its toll among people this end-time also. It is therefore important to choose this day where you will be.” (Page 24)

“Sexual immorality is a very powerful weapon of the enemy. With it he has destroyed several glorious destinies. Yours will not be one of them in Jesus’ name.” (Page 25)

“It was gold that led Judas to commit suicide. He sold his master for a mere 30 pieces of silver…Ananias and Sapphira died by the dagger of the god of gold…Jeshurun waxed fat, and then kicked against God, and God in turn hid His face from then…May God not hide His face from you! They kicked against God in their prosperity. May your prosperity not bring about your perishing…May every increase you see in your life, create your increase in your affection for God.” (37)

“Rebellion is a deliberate reaction against order, targeted at leadership at all levels in the church of God. Any church or establishment you find yourself in and you have doubts about the leadership, it is not a place where you can be blessed. So check out of the place before you are checked out.” (Page 39)

“There are many things you never intended to do, but somehow there are forces (controlling forces in the air) that want to take advantage of your ignorance of the real battle. Or how do you explain this – somebody got drunk with alcohol yesterday, and in his stupor slept in the gutter. He wakes up the following morning to find himself in the gutter. Should he go to his drinking joint again? No! But on his way back from work that same day, instead of going home, he goes back on his drinking spree! That’s a man under the law of sin! He can’t help himself.” (Page 51)

That Testimony Bishop Oyedepo Always Talks About: The Inside Story

Deacon Niyi

Adeyemi Adeniyi is a member of the Living Faith Church also known as Winners’ Chapel. He worships at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland Ota, the ministry’s headquarters where he serves with the Language Translation Unit. During his National Youth Service, the compulsory one-year service by every graduate in Nigeria, certain events happened in his life that culminated in what is now a reference point among members of the church. First he was to be deployed to far-away Yobe State but he redeployed to Lagos, only to be rejected by the company where he was posted to for primary assignment. Not deterred, he sought the face of the Lord in prayers. What played out afterwards was a practical demonstration of the scripture that says, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” According to his testimony which is often mentioned by the senior pastor of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, God told him specifically to go to a particular company where he met people who already knew him as an interpreter in church. But Niyi didn't meet a blossoming company. In fact the company was in a bad shape financially when he joined but it turned out that he was sent there for a purpose.

Though he has shared this testimony in one of the services in church, as it is the custom of Winners Chapel, the time allotted for testimonies is always not enough for the entire details. Hence, FT News caught up with him recently for an interview and he shared with Bros. Gabriel Onyema and Frederick Onwuka the Inside Story, revealing what happened, what he did, what God did, and what the situation is now.

After his testimony on the altar, the question on the lips of many was ‘How did it really happen? Here is the Inside Story
“I joined my organization - Property Max Investment Limited - in the year 2008 as a Youth Corps member. The office is on Akiode in Ojodu, Berger, Lagos. I actually prayed first before I joined the company but at that time, I would have falsified the age on my C.V so as to be able to do my Youth Service in a bank as most people will always prefer, but I chose not to and I said just like Bishop Oyedepo would always say “Whatever God can never give me may I never have it.” Since I was redeployed to Lagos, I had to look for where to do my Youth Service and so I chose to wait upon the Lord for Him to settle me,” he told our reporter.
But the first company he visited didn’t look like God was going to ‘settle him’ as he prayed.
“They told me that the last copper they needed had been taken. However, they were not direct about it; they asked me to come again,” he continued.
As a man who understands spiritual warfare, Niyi knew what to do when everything else fails.
“So I embarked on a three-day prayer and fasting, believing God that the next time I appear there they will accept me,” he said with a note of conviction.
But at first, it looked as if his prayers were not answered as he only got a rejection letter. But Niyi seemed to have an answer to issues like this. In his words, God had a better place for him. Indeed he was convinced it was a blessing in disguise. He also was smart enough to understand that faith without work is dead, so he, as it were, ‘watched and prayed’:
“One day I went to meet an NYSC Official that God has divinely arranged. He was one of the people in charge of posting in Lagos so I decided to visit him in his house and when I was there he was telling me that there were some organizations seeking to get corps members. In the process I met a young guy who was working with Property Max Investment Limited. He had been working there before he went for Youth Service.”
And if you thought he just walked into a bed of roses, you were wrong. In fact, Deacon Niyi got a blend of discouragement and hope. But was he discouraged?
“The NYSC official introduced me to the young man and the young man said, ‘Guy, if you want to serve in our company there is nothing there o but there is a future there.’ I said ‘Future,’ that is the key and not about the size of the company but the future in the place.”
As a 'Son of the Prophet,' he took definite steps:
“I got the name of the company, and I also took the names of other organizations that were looking for coppers, and I prayed about them and God told me to choose Property Max. I decided to go there and when I got there, God said 'yes, this is the place, stay here.'They were having a meeting when I got there. When they finished the meeting, something unusual happened; that was when I got to know that God really ordered my footsteps there.”
His labour in God’s vineyard as an interpreter began to yield some earthly results. And as it turned out, people that matter in the organization knew him as a lover of God, and they put in some good words for him to his prospective boss.
“Later, the M.D sent for me and said, “You know what, I have heard a lot about you so there is nothing you have to tell me. Are you here just to be collecting clearance letters every month because I heard you have your own business too or you want to work, let me know?”
Then it was time for Niyi to reveal to the boss God’s marching orders to him:
“I said ‘God asked me to come here and work so I can learn.’ So he said ‘if that is the case, there’s work to do. That office, you will be resuming there from tomorrow and you will be kick-starting the Accounting department of this organization. Now you can start. That was how I started,” he said with a glow on his face.
He was there for a purpose and in less than a week, it was time to fulfill that purpose as obedience is not complete until it is immediate. Something novel but highly profitable was about to be introduced into the management via this young Copper!
“God told me there was a problem in the financial department and that I should inform the M.D that He has instructed us to go on a three-day fasting and prayer.
Mr Niyi got a mandate from God, and he got to work immediately.
“So, I got to the office the next day and I told my M.D and he said, “You and the other workers can fast but as for me I will not because I have ulcer.”
Then he exhibited the traits that genuine Winners are known for, i.e. a display of uncommon faith and positive confessions:
“And I told him, Sir, if you have such a problem, as far as I am here that trouble will stop.”
And God is still a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him because while “they were yet praying and fasting,” answer was on the way.
“Before the end of the fasting and prayers, things started changing for good,” he enthused with an expected lighted facial expression.
FT News dug a little further to find out how things changed in specific terms and what we discovered will blow your mind! For instance, before the fasting intervention, many companies owed Property Max huge sums running into millions. After the intervention, cheques of repayment started pouring in! It also robbed off on the members of staff. But another spectacular thing happened that reflected one of Bishop Oyedepo’s favorite sayings, “It is foolish to be shameful of what is gainful.” It looked like management had entrenched fasting and prayers into the company’s policy.
“After the first 3-day prayer and fasting exercise and the speedy results that followed, management decided to raise the bar; we embarked on a 7-day fasting and prayers, and then graduated to 21days of prayers fasting. After then, there was an explosion!”
The company got its first-owned estate; and about 13 new estates during the period; salaries of staff became regular, the sales staff members witnessed an upsurge in their personal sales which also meant fat commissions, and so on. To say the least, things changed in all ramifications.
Today, Deacon Niyi is a living testimony to that prayer-and-fasting intervention. But that was just a sign of what was coming. After service, he hung around for a few years and then it was time to leave. Then another mild drama ensued. Suddenly, his boss wanted him to go! On the face of it, it looked worrisome, but it was yet another divine orchestration by The Almighty.
“One day, my boss called me and said ‘Niyi, you have served me well and God has laid it in my heart that it’s time for you to move on’. I was surprised so I asked if I had offended him. He answered in the negative but asked me to pray about it”
But first, he had to bounce it off his spiritual parents just in case he was missing it this time. He had to draw on the relationship he had (and still has) with them when he was still in Abuja (the reason it pays to serve God well, wherever one is). Once again, this was indeed the handiwork of God!
“I spoke with Bishop David Abioye and Bishop Aremu together with Mummy Abioye and they said if it was God then He had a special plan for me’. I went to my boss and I agreed to resign.”
Then the bombshell came, albeit a cheering one! Niyi got a parting gift that surpassed his expectations. There’s no better way to say this than in his own words:
“He handed over to me an estate and gave me two partners to work with me. He also gave me the Range Rover Sports car I had been using as my official car.”
Take a look at the picture below and you’d appreciate what he meant by a car!
The Parting Gift From His Boss
During this period that eventually ended in testimonies, his fiancee who later became his wife, stood by him all through. And he is always ready to tell whoever cares to listen how instrumental and sacrificial his wife has been in his life’s journey. He is still serving God in the Yoruba division of the ministry’s Language Translation Team (LTT) at Faith Tabernacle, Ota. After working for his former boss for 5years, he now has his own company – Tromville Investment Limited - on Salvation Road, Opebi, Ikeja. Deacon Adeyemi Adeniyi is married to Mrs Omobolanle. They are blessed with three lovely children: two girls and a boy.

Indeed, any faith that makes God absolutely responsible for the affairs of our lives is an irresponsible faith. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever, or has God changed?
