Faith Tabernacle Announcements Sunday, 1st June, 2014

1. Our monthly Week of Spiritual Emphasis holds this week from Wednesday to Friday. We shall be waiting on the Lord in a fast and break with the Communion at our various Zonal Fellowship Centers on Wednesday and Thursday. Time is 6-8pm. However, Friday shall be a Breakthrough Night Service and we shall be breaking our fast at home before service. All members are expected to be in Canaanland for the service. However, for those who are not able to make it, there shall be live broadcast from Canaanland to all our WOFBI Training Centers across Lagos and Ota. Time is 11:00 pm-500 am. 

2. Praise The Lord! The next WOFBI training session comes up from Monday 9th – Friday 20th June, 2014. It is a two-week intensive course and we shall be running the three tiers i.e. BCC, LCC and LDC. Therefore, all members, particularly new converts, who are yet to undergo this most profitable spiritual training, should make plans to attend in order to take advantage of this opportunity for an encounter of a lifetime. Be reminded also that all new converts of the year shall be on church scholarship, that is, the cost of forms and tuition fully borne by the Church. Forms are available at all WOFBI training centres across Lagos and Ota. 

3. Teens Church: Parents are hereby informed that the Children’s Church runs a programme for the Teens at the Covenant University Secondary School Hall in all our 4 services on Sundays. All children in this category should be encouraged to be a part of this great platform for their spiritual growth. 

4. Believers’ Foundation Class holds every Monday for all new converts and those who have just joined the Church in 260 locations cut across Lagos and Ota. Everyone concerned is admonished to take advantage of this very important platform for spiritual empowerment that will result in victorious living. Time: 6.00 - 7.30 pm. 

5. Prayer Squad Meeting holds every Tuesday at our Zonal Fellowship Centers across Lagos and Ota. Remember, every healthy church growth, both in scripture and in modern history, is built on a strong prayer platform. Expect your rewards as you participate. New members are welcome. Time: 6 pm. 

6. Eight (8) intending couples wed this weekend. This is apart from lots of others who will wed outside of Lagos. We are admonished to stand in the gap for them in prayers and share in their joy. Time is 11:00 am. 

7. Canaanland Prayer Permit: Henceforth, all members of the church who desire to seek the face of the Lord in Prayers within Canaanland in the night season are required to obtain a Canaanland Prayer Permit from the front desk of the Church Secretariat. This is for security reasons. Any person(s) found praying within the premises without this permit shall be duly picked up by Security agents. 

8. Winners’ Satellite Fellowship, our house to house fellowship, holds in over 20,000 homes within Lagos and Ota between 5:00 and 6:30 pm every Saturday. We are all encouraged to take advantage of this forum for our spiritual upliftment. 

9. Next Sunday at Faith Tabernacle shall be our Covenant Day of Settlement. It doubles as our Special Monthly Communion Service. Come expecting an encounter of a lifetime as the Lord shall settle all issues of concern in your life via the Word and the mystery of the Communion. Be sure to invite someone. 

10. Special Information: Please note that from next Sunday our services shall be extended to 1 hour 45 minutes as against the present 1 hour 30 minutes. This, among others, is to accommodate intercessory slots for the Nation and other essentials as may occur from time to time. The New schedule is as follows: 1st Service: 6:00 – 7:45 am; 2nd Service: 7:50 – 9: 35 am; 3rd Service: 9:40 – 11:25 am and 4th Service: 11:30 am – 1:15 pm.
