THE LIVING DRUG

"I am that bread of life…I am the living bread which came from Heaven…verily, verily, I say to you except ye eat of the flesh of the son of man, and drink His blood,ye have no life in you." Jn 6:48,51,53

Bishop David Oyedepo, President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide has described the holy communion as the only Living drug on earth.

The apostle of faith who recommended a daily intake of the multi-purpose substance to worshippers, stated that every other drug meant to manage sickness and diseases were dead entities.

God’s servant was teaching from John 6 verses 48-58, during the monthly communion service on Sunday 11^th May 2014 at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland-Ota on a day the heavy downpour could not stop the multitudes from attending the fourfold meeting.

In a sermon titled “unveiling the mystery power of faith”, the man of God posited that faith is not a feeling. It is a spiritual substance. It is not a strategy. It is a spiritual force;”Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”-Heb 11:1

 According to him faith is a spiritual engraftment into divinity, having power to silence every mockery. Faith is the life wire of redemption, he concluded. Rm 4:20-21, Rm11:17-21, LK 8:40-41.

The 59-year-old cleric said God primarily speaks through the pages of scriptures, Rhema which is the direct word of God for the now and His prophets.
