In 1979, I was to stand in for a senior one who could not attend a fellowship of youths. I just encountered some light then that I am far above all principalities and power. I was looking for where to prove it and I found that platform. After the ministration, I made a strange altar call and I said, ‘is there's anyone here who's a witch, stand up’. I was 25 years old. It's not about age, it's about discovery.

They stood up en masse and I said, ‘sit down, I don't mean they are calling you a witch all you sleep at night and dream about being a witch; I mean, real, practicing witch.’ They still stood up en masse. And I called one of them up and said, "What do you do with the devil". She said, ‘Anytime we want to suck blood, we go on the highway and cause a vehicle to somersault, and then we suck the blood of the victims.’

Then without hesitation, I asked, what happens when people like us are coming? She said, "When we sense a higher power, we clear off the highway."

Latest Faith Tabernacle Announcement (Sunday, 26th March, 2017)

• Covenant Hour of Prayer continues tomorrow, Monday to Saturday. Take advantage of this platform as an avenue for your spiritual enhancement. Time: 5.30-6.30am. However on Saturday there shall be a Special District Outreach. Therefore, Covenant Hour of Prayer this Saturday shall be 6.00-7.30am, after which we proceed on the outreach to end at 9.30am.

Joys Oyedepo - the visioneer of the Women of the God Kind and the host of the conference rounded off with the teaching on “HOW TO DRAW NEAR” using the story of Queen Esther.  

“We need to prepare in the sense that we should take actions that prove we believe God. Do not get distracted, surround yourself with those who will stand by you and teach you. Be subject to leadership, do not take some decisions on your own. No matter what the enemy does, stand strong in your knowing of God’s truth. Do not be comfortable with mediocrity. She also ended the session with an altar call for salvation and a word of prayer for sisters who had challenges with their health.”

It was an awesome time in God’s presence and I am sure we all are looking forward to the Women of the God Kind 2018 conference.

(Part 4)WHAT WENT DOWN AT THE WOTGK CONFERENCE 2017 LAST SATURDAY: A Message From Tolu Odukoya

Tolu Odukoya - the first daughter of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and Late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya spoke on a message she titled “The Call”. She defined a call as “A unique divine assignment given by God which requires devotion and commitment on the part of man”. According to her, every purpose would lead back to God.

“We need to put our wants aside and ask God what He wants us to do. What is in your hands? What do you have? Who are you surrounding yourself with? Queen Esther picked maids that could fast when the time came. We need to step up to the call of God upon our lives. After you have prayed, MOVE. God is going to do what he wants to do through you; you have a part to play. In the end it is all about souls. When you move, God backs you up.”

(Part 3)WHAT WENT DOWN AT THE WOTGK CONFERENCE 2017 LAST SATURDAY: The Panel Section With Joys, Kemi Oyedepo…

The Panel session was a question and answer session which was anchored by Joys Oyedepo, while Mrs Kemi Oyedepo (Visioneer of crisis proof your family and wife of the Resident Pastor of the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland; Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr) and Mrs. Yemi (Former Teacher at Faith Academy Secondary School) answered questions raised by participants. On the issue of marrying a younger man, Mrs. Kemi Oyedepo answered by saying that the most important thing to consider in such situation is if you feel you can be humble enough to submit to such a man and also his ability to lead. A participant raised a question on how one can build confidence. The panel answered by saying that confidence stemmed out of constant fellowship with God through His Word. “You get to know who you are and who lives within you. Over time you discover that the timidity is gone,” was part of the response given.

Mrs. Nkechi Ngonadi, The CEO of NHN Couture spoke on “Preparation”, using the example of Queen Esther. “There is always a place for preparation for anything you want to do in Life. Esther and her girls prepared before she approached the King. The longer you prepare, the better for you. There is nothing wrong with Christian women looking nice, we just have to examine our motives. The truth is we can never look our best except we are beautiful within. She also ended her teaching with these key notes: 

-          Determine what true beauty is from the word of God
-          Desire true beauty and pray for it
-          Diligently pursue it (Beauty is not about fine face, it is about a fine heart)
-          Be Humble
-          Modesty and decency is key.

The much anticipated Women of the God Kind (WOTGK) conference took place last Saturday, 18^th March 2017 at the ALDC Covenant University, Ota. The event attracted hundreds of ladies from within and outside Ota. The theme of the conference which featured word ministrations, a panel session, dance drama, fashion show by NHN Couture among others, was “Audience of One”.

Dr. Ada Sonia- A lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at the Covenant University talked about maintaining a genuine relationship with God. She also admonished the participants to understand their relationship with God and to see prayer as a constant communication with the father not just an avenue to ask for things: “We are the branch and God is the vine. The branch takes the form and fruits of the vine. What fruits are you producing?”  she asked.

INDEED GOD IS THE BABYMAKER: BOUNCING BABY BOY VIA OBEDIENCE TO PROPHETIC INSTRUCTIONS

“We got married in April 2015. As every married couple, we believed God for immediate pregnancy, but all to no avail. Each time my mother in law called me to ask, my response was always ‘God has done it and that the baby was kicking fine.’ She would say in response that my womb was not growing at all. Our faith was never deterred because we kept on to the Bishop’s statement that says ‘When your cloud is full your rain will fall”. As such, we engaged in outreaches, bringing new converts to church and kingdom-focused prayers after the Wonder-Double agenda was declared.

During the 21 days prayer and fasting of January 2016, we engaged rigorously and wholeheartedly. The first on our prayer request list was for God to give us our own child. However, Bishop emphasized during the fast the need to pray for the kingdom and church members. As such, we had to stop praying for a child and started praying for the kingdom, members and non-members who we know have been believing God for children for long since we are just new couple.

The last week of the prayer and fasting (the third one night with the king) Bishop re-emphasized that we should demonstrate our love for God by inviting at least one soul to church. I took days off from work that week and lodged at the camp house from Tuesday of the last week. I invited two of my colleagues who also camped with me and two others for the Feet Washing service. My prayer for them was for God to give them an encounter since they were new invitees. To the glory of God they gave their life to Christ. After the first service of that Sunday, they pleaded they wanted to stay back for the other services. Hence, we attended the five services. However, during the third service, my blood flow started. I was almost in tears but kept my faith alive to avoid questions from my invitees. On my way to the camp house to clean up and use my pad, a voice spoke to me to return to church. I obeyed and returned immediately not minding the flow. We all stayed in the church till the 5th service.

The next month, February 2016, I was confirmed pregnant, all through the pregnancy my husband and I engaged in almost all of the outreaches, kingdom prayers and bringing new members to church with our car. We also provided bus to convey members who reside in our estate every Sunday till date. November 6, 2016 God blessed us with a bouncing baby boy.

We have come to return all the glory to God who is a rewarder of them that obey His instructions and diligently serve Him. - Mr and Mrs. Nneka

My Case is Different greetings to you all in Jesus’ name.

I believe every one of us must have had definite encounters with the Word in the course of the month of February; I pray for the release of grace upon each one of us that will enable us to keep walking in the light that we encountered, and to continue to grow in the knowledge of the truth, going forth from glory to glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

But what is the Spirit of the Lord saying concerning the month of March 2017?

As we are all aware, we are in the last days, where the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and many nations shall flow unto it – Mic. 4:1-2

We are in the latter days, where God is out, building the latter house, whose glory shall be greater than the former – Hag. 2:3-9

We are also in the latter days, where God’s people shall begin to build the old wastes, raise up the former desolation, the desolation of many generations – Is. 61:4-5

We are indeed in the building era in the body of Christ!

But through wisdom is a house built; and by understanding it is established – Pro. 24:3-4

This implies that, we are in the era of the manifestation of the ‘manifold’ wisdom of God in the body of Christ today. As it is written, “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord” – Eph. 3:10-11

The manifold wisdom of God here, is translated in the Amplified Bible as “the many-sided wisdom of God in all its innumerable aspects and infinite varieties”

There shall be a strong wave of the Spirit of wisdom blowing across the body of Christ like never known before in history, with undeniable proofs in building great institutions across the nations of the earth. These institutions shall include, mega church facilities, educational institutions across all levels, health care infrastructures, great industries and conglomerates, etc. through the empowerment of the Spirit of wisdom – Ps 87:1-7

This order of wisdom cannot be found in the land of the living, neither can it be acquired in any institution of learning, because it is from above, it shall be above all intellectual realms that even destruction and death shall bow to its authority. This wisdom from on high will engender dominion over all the challenges of life, make amazing discoveries in creating solution to real life problems and many more – Job. 28:7-28

The body of Christ is in for the best of time ever; God shall be empowering the end-time church to reign by the outpouring of the Spirit of wisdom – Pro. 8:15-18

We are indeed in the era of the manifestation of the sons of God, that the world has been waiting for; and as this army of solution providers begins to rise in the body of Christ, the world around us shall begin to exclaim, ‘what wisdom is this that is given unto them that such mighty works are wrought by their hands?’

Therefore, the prophetic focus for the month of March 2017 is:

WHAT WISDOM IS THIS? – MATT. 13:54.
