SETTING UP YOUR DAY ON THE ALTAR OF PRAYER

Papa shared some of his secrets with Winners last Sunday. According to him, this is what he does every morning. “This is not something to decorate your Bible with; it is your daily manual,” he told worshippers during the 4^th service, as a way of introducing the “Setting up your day on the altar of prayer” flyers that were distributed to members.

Take-home Wisdom From Yesterday's Message

Yesterday was our Covenant Day of Total Health. God was in the house. The Word came heavy - ignorance-shattering Word of God. Below are some take-home wisdom from the powerful sermon delivered by the Prophet in the house, Bishop David Oyedepo.

“Every challenge of the believer is temporary. We are not permitted to suffer beyond a while; we are not permitted to suffer beyond a moment; we are not permitted to suffer beyond a night. So, whatever has gone beyond one night must drop today.” (See 1Pet.5:10; Ps.30:5)

“All of our challenges are ordained for testimonies; for it shall turn to you for a testimony.”

“Vision is not a destination; it is an adventure; so we are on a journey…and the journey requires his directives. So it is best to first cross-check with the Lord saying, ‘God, is this your plan? Are you the one leading me in this direction?” (Prov. 4:18; Ps.37:3; Prov.3:5)

THE YOUNG, THE NOT-SO-YOUNG, AND EVEN THE SENIOR CITIZENS ARE SET FOR WOFBI! ARE YOU?

Mr Ojofeitimi Gabriel Jide is 64 years old. He might not be the most senior citizen attending WOFBI this time but this is a thing of joy! This father of four joined this commission two years ago by the invitation of his wife. He has stayed long enough to know the value of drinking deeper from the Word of God, hence his decision to attend the Word of Faith Bible Institute, the God-ordained Bible school of Winners’ Chapel. Back to our Ilesha, Osun State-born 64-year-old WOFBI student! According to him, nothing compares to coming nearer to God and learning of Him. He is not stopping at just the BCC; he plans to take it to the LCC level. (BCC is Basic Certificate Course; LCC is Leadership Certificate Course, while LDC is Leadership Diploma Course).

THE NEXT 40 DAYS...[Day 01]

Receive ye the power that raised Him from the dead.

Yesterday at Faith Tabernacle, Papa declared, among other things, that the next 40 days had been ordained for our turn-around season. That is, we have a whole 40 days to have a special experience with the Resurrection Power of Christ.

Today is just Day 01. 

"There shall be no week without a turn-around testimony...in the name of Jesus the Risen Christ," Papa further declared.
