Oyedepo Warns: Spiritual Vacation is a Risk!

photo credit: google.com
Many people, no doubt, heaved a sigh of relief when Shiloh 2014 ended. We thought, at last, we would sleep well instead of the two hours or less, of rest we managed to get in-between the programme of events.

However, during the midweek service on December 17, 2014, Dr David Oyedepo admonished us against spiritual vacation. In an easy and comradely mood, he noted that some people had resumed watching Africa Magic or chatting with ‘demons’ on Facebook and other social media platforms all day. He emphasized that such acts drained the spiritual energy of believers adding that they might have to rebuild spiritual strength which may have been lost during such a ‘vacation’. He encouraged everyone to take heed to spiritual affairs and ensure that no room was given to the devil.

From 2 Samuel 11:1-16; 12:1-11, he painted the picture of David when he sent his army to battle but tarried in Jerusalem. He noted that it was during his ‘vacation’ from the battlefield that he committed adultery with Bathsheba, Uriah’s wife, and consequently killed Uriah and married his wife. From this, he pointed out that every spiritual vacation was a risk and because David tarried in Jerusalem, he succumbed to temptations and that brought calamity on Israel.

The 60-year-old Bishop further noted that the devil was never on vacation, adding that for Christians to embark on such was a risk to the blessings we have garnered at Shiloh 2014. Therefore, all through this festive and holiday season, we must realize that we have no license for spiritual vacation in this kingdom. Hence, this should be the period of reflections on our personal encounters in 2014, to set the pace for 2015. Remain ever blessed!

Like Father Like Son...

“Thanksgiving is the key for perfection of our blessings. There is always a new dimension of blessing because God does not give His best; He gives you a taste first, to see whether you will thank first; then He will release His best next.”

Our Way Of Greeting Has Changed!

Winners @ Shiloh 2014
Since the impartation service of Shiloh 2013 when the prophetic theme of 2014 was announced, when two Winners met each other or talked on phone, they would exchange pleasantries with "Exceeding Grace", with a response of 'Strange Works." But that has changed since the impartation service of Shiloh 2014 when the President and Founder of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo unveiled the prophetic theme of 2015 on December 13, 2014. "Therefore, the prophetic theme of 2015 is 'Heaven on Earth," the Bishop announced last Saturday amidst shouts of joy from the congregation. And as usual, that automatically became the Winners' way of greeting.

The initial response to was to be "That's my portion" as announced by Papa last Sunday during the 1st service which doubled as Shiloh 2014 thanksgiving service. However, as one who constantly hears from the Holy Spirit, Papa swiftly adjusted the response to "Wonders Without EndThat is my new realm and your new realm!"

So, the next time you meet a fellow Winner or call them on the phone, your first greeting should be, "Heaven on Earth." If their response does not correspond to the above, don't worry, they just might be among those who attended the 1st and 2nd service last Sunday. Tell them the current one and also tell them that it was changed last Sunday by the prophet in the house. After all, Papa urged those who were present at the 3rd service to spread the message. So, from all us at the Press & Publicity Unit, Faith Tabernacle, it is "Heaven on Earth."
You know how to respond, don't you?

Heaven On Earth 2015!

Yes, that is the prophetic theme for the year 2015. As the custom has been for some time now in the Winners' family, the theme of each year's Shiloh automatically becomes the prophetic theme of the following year. So, the year 2015 has been declared as the year of "Heaven on Earth."
So, the next time you see a fellow Winner, your way of salutation should be, "Heaven on Earth..."

SHILOH 2015 IS DECEMBER 8

December 8, 2015 has been declared as the date for Shiloh 2015, the annual gathering of members of the Living Faith Church, Winners' Chapel. Announcing the date during the just-concluded Shiloh 2014, the Presiding Bishop David Oyedepo thundered that the year 2015 shall be a year of 'Heaven-on-earth." according to him,  the next Shiloh programme will run through December 8th to December 12th, 2015.
The just-concluded Shiloh had several amazing testimonies including a baby without testes growing them for the first time at the event.

God's Agenda For Winners In 2015, According to Bishop Oyedepo

The annual 'convocation' of Winners, Shiloh 2014 by the Living Faith Church worldwide came to a close today Saturday December 13, 2014. The President and founder of the Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, rounded off the programme with prophetic declarations for the year 2015, which has been a tradition in the more-than-a-decade-old ministry as the end of one Shiloh has come to represent the beginning of another year, irrespective of the date. Reeling out the declarations for 2015, the grandfather preacher described 2015 as one where giants would rise up in all sectors of human endeavour.
  • "2015 shall be a year with clear distinctions;
  • In 2015, nobody will doubt those who serve God;
  • It will be clear that we are only in the world, not of the world;
  • In 2015, my God will wipe away all your tears;
  • There shall be no occasion for mourning or weeping;
  • Throughout 2015, you are not permitted to bury anyone in your life because there shall be no more death.
  • In 2015, some things that cause you sorrow will be far from you.
  • In 2015, you will not need any medication to be healthy.
  • Your night season is over.
  • God will be all you need for triumphant life, victorious living all through 2015.
  • There shall be a rise of many giants – giants in all sectors of human endeavor.
  • There shall be a sudden rise of giants in Zion.
  • Men like nations will rise in the year 2015.
  • Men that will command attention of many nations shall arise in 2015.
  • God has brought us into the realm of heaven on earth, where men will live like angels.
  • I release you into your season of exploits."

Before unveiling the theme of the year (2015), as is the custom with the church, Papa also described 2015 as  a year where there shall be a rise of international and intellectual giants.

Shiloh Impartation Service

The 16th annual Shiloh of the Living Faith Church worldwide finally came to an end on Saturday December 13, 2014 with the usual anointing and mantle service. It was a vintage Papa in his full prophetic element as he was pouring out declarations upon declarations on the Winners' family worldwide. When it was time for the prophetic blessing of the mantle, this is what the man of God had to say:
"With these mantles in your hand, nothing dies around you again. This is not just handkerchiefs but power! It is a kind of the rod of Moses. You will cross every red sea of life with it; you will enjoy divine supplies with it."

At 50 She Got Married For The First Time! #Shiloh 2014!

Testifier @Shiloh 2014
There has been a harvest of amazing testimonies at the on-going Shiloh 2014. With 'Heaven-on-earth" as the theme, participants are already living a heavenly life on earth. It has been a mountain of solutions. The lady in the picture above shared her testimony today on the altar. A 50-year-old! And God surprised her at last. She got married for the first time in her life in March this year!

Thousands Turned To Christ @ Shiloh 2014

The purpose for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to this world which is to save His people from their sins was further rekindled on Thursday 11th December 2014.At the end of encounter night teaching titled "heralding the era of Heaven on earth,Bishop David Oyedepo,president of the Living Faith Church made an altar call where people who have hitherto not repented, or who backslided after repentance.On the third day of Shiloh 2014, the annual gathering of the Winners' family, the same altar call was made as usual but this time, it was a boisterous crowd of worshippers that were seen rushing to the altar when the presiding Bishop,urged them to come to the alter instead of the usual standing standing along the isle. In his words, heaven on earth is a reality for those who choose to be translated. The minister who preached a sermon titled: "Heralding The Era of Heaven on Earth", asked them to run to the altar for a life-changing experience.

In what appeared like a rapid response to Papa's altar call, men, women, boys, girls, old and young were seen on their heels heading for the altar for a believer's most important decision - to get saved. Suffice to say here that the apostle of faith, Dr. David Oyedepo was practically on fire throughout the service. And it looked like the fire was transferred to the congregation, hence the sea of heads that gave their lives to Christ as well as those who rededicated their's.
From all indications, many participants at Shiloh 2014 are leaving no stone unturned to have a heaven-on-earth experience.
