The anointing service of Sunday June 15 at Faith Tabernacle, the international headquarters of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, was  a service with a difference.

Tagged "Encounter with Destiny",it was the monthly anointing service of Winners' Chapel. As the custom is in the commission, Jesus’ followers came with their bottles of oil ready for the priestly blessing upon them by, Bishop David Oyedepo.

1. Praise The Lord! Last Saturday’s District Outreach was a huge success. As at the time of reporting, thousands of souls had given their lives to Christ and 159 new cell centres were opened to the glory of God. Our next Outreach comes up this Saturday. All Winners are admonished to come out in large numbers to participate. Time: 7.00am – 9.30am.

THE MAN THAT GOD SETTLES!

"O Lord, settle me this month" is one prayer that is not far from the lips of many a Christian. From the man who has toiled all year with nothing to show for it to the man who has been a Christian for many years with no visible proofs, the quest for divine settlement is alive in the life of many believers.

But who is qualified for divine settlement? If it must come from God, then how can it be coveted? What makes a man ripe for divine settlement? And why are many who claim to be followers of Christ not divinely settled? This question formed the thrust of the message of God's servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, during one of the services on Sunday June 8, 2014.

1. Zonal Outreach: The next one comes up this Saturday. All Winners are admonished to come out in large numbers to participate. Time: 7.00am – 9.30am.

2. Positioning Yourself For The Midst Of The Year Encounters: The midst of the year is ordained a season of divine visitation for our turnarounds. Every member is therefore admonished to make the next 7 weeks the most spiritual season of his/her life because God will be reviving his work and making known his power among us. Therefore we should be strong and work for the Lord this season as we watch out for supernatural manifestations of his power that will culminate in earth shaking testimonies in the lives of all. Jesus is Lord.

Sunday, June 1, 2014, heralded the mysteries of the ‘Midst of the year’ in the Living Faith Church Worldwide in line with Habakkuk 3:2-19.
Dr. David Oyedepo, Presiding Bishop of the commission in the first teaching for the month unveiled the wonders in the Word of God.
He said, “God’s Word is pregnant with wonders and until we search them out, we may never benefit from the blessings they carry,” adding that every true revelation from the Word empowers the receiver to obey. 

Faith Tabernacle Announcements Sunday, 1st June, 2014

1. Our monthly Week of Spiritual Emphasis holds this week from Wednesday to Friday. We shall be waiting on the Lord in a fast and break with the Communion at our various Zonal Fellowship Centers on Wednesday and Thursday. Time is 6-8pm. However, Friday shall be a Breakthrough Night Service and we shall be breaking our fast at home before service. All members are expected to be in Canaanland for the service. However, for those who are not able to make it, there shall be live broadcast from Canaanland to all our WOFBI Training Centers across Lagos and Ota. Time is 11:00 pm-500 am.
